“Vibraciones” – El Ritmo Del Corazon (Rhythms Of The Heart)

A Celebration of Latin Art & Inspiration

July 31st – August 24th

This show will feature art that celebrates the peoples and cultures of Mexico, Central and South America. Artists appearing in this exciting and high impact show seek their inspiration in contemporary and traditional Latin culture and in the work of generations of other Latin artists. This inspirational show is being sponsored by James and Estela Avery.

“Vibraciones” is being curated by Aurora Joleen Franklin, assuring that this will be an authentic broad-spectrum look at work being done by contemporary Latino and Latina artists as well as non-Latino artists working in the genre.

Deadline for submission of entries in “Vibraciones” is July 14th. Submissions are open to both KACC members and non-Members.

There will be a free public reception for “Vibraciones” on July 31st, 5 – 6:30 pm with Latin-inspired food by Acapulco Mexican Restaurant. Guitarist Randy Cordero will be performing during the reception to give visitors a taste of the concert, which will follow the reception.

Enjoy high-spirited Spanish folk music and dance by “Suspiro Flamenco”, a group founded by accomplished guitarist, Randy Cordero, that offers audiences a colorful and authentic flamenco experience.
