KACC Executive Director is excited that visitors love the new look of the re-decorated galleries but Minns smiles and comments, “People seem to linger longer over our exhibits than before – do you suppose it’s our new AC system?”
Whatever the reason, visitors to KACC during the heat of August will find plenty of opportunities to chill and enjoy three very special art exhibits.
From July 27th through August 20th, artist Hardy Lewis will be displaying multi-media creations inspired by nature, featuring trees in every imaginable form.
Complementing the theme of nature’s inspirations, Dinah Bowman will be exhibiting her current work based on Rock Art & Petroglyphs, a rich source of cultural heritage well-known to many Texans.
Rounding out August’s shows, the annual juried show of works by KACC member artists in all media will be a source of diverse pleasure and inspiration for visitors.
The reception for all three of August’s shows will take place on Saturday, July 29th from 2-4 pm at the KACC galleries. As always, delightful food and beverages will be served, and both the reception and the ongoing exhibits are free and open to the public.
