Kerr Arts and Cultural Center “Starving Artists” Show & Sale

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAKerr Arts and Cultural Center January Gallery Exhibit

The New Year will see a gathering of some of the Hill Country’s most talented artists showing their incredibly diverse work in an “indoors street fair” with booths set up in all three of KACC’s galleries from Jan. 12th – Feb. 5th.

You never know what the annual “Starving Artists” show & sale will have to offer. In past years, artists have offered to create remarkably life-like portraits of a favorite pet working from photographs, while others have featured hand-woven sweaters and shawls that are perfect for surviving Texas Winters in style.

Entering into the spirit of the “Starving Artists” theme, the exhibitors price their work at “can’t pass it up” prices. To add to the variety of great finds available for visitors, the KACC gift shop has re-stocked after the Holidays and features a wide array of handmade treasures by local artists, many priced at under $20.

A percentage of all sales proceeds goes to KACC, which serves the Texas Hill Country year-round with innovative art exhibits, hands-on workshops and community-wide art events. Our address is 228 Earl Garrett in downtown Kerrville, and Gallery hours are 10-4 Tues –Sat and 1-4 Sundays. For more information on KACC and our upcoming events please visit http://www.kacckerrville.com or call 830-895-2911 during gallery hours.
