Kerr Arts & Cultural Center’s education Director Grace Roach, herself a former KISD youth art teacher, has announced a new art-oriented program for children ages 2-4. On the last Tuesday of each month KACC volunteers and staff will host “Playdates” from 10-11AM.

According to Roach, “KACC playdates will cultivate, nurture, and inspire your child’s creativity while developing their appreciation of art and world cultures! Toddlers will experience stories, gallery activities, hands-on art, movement and music, all in a safe, happy environment. Parents are cordially invited to join their child in having a good time.

If that sounds like a lot of really messy fun, parents should not be concerned. KACC Executive Director Debbie Minns wants parents to know that “We have plenty of soap and water and we’ll give your child back to you ready to go home with a smile on their face but without finger paint on their little hands!”

Playdates sessions cost $5, and reservations are a must! Please call 830-895-2911 for Playdates reservations. You can reserve as many Playdates as you like with one call.
