Kerr Arts & Cultural Center is swinging into the holidays with so many choices for affordable gifts that visitors will have to be forgiven if they over-indulge their generous side. From December 8th through January 8th, KACC will be featuring three distinctly holiday-oriented shows.
Beginning with the Kerrville Art Club’s “Annual Juried Show”, then moving on to a gallery full of miniature works of art created by the entire KACC membership, and winding up with a world-class gift shop at the end of the yellow brick road, KACC offers visitors literally hundreds of irresistible choices for celebrating the holidays through gifts of art.
Apropos of the holiday spirit, Debbie Minns, KACC Executive Director and reportedly one of Santa’s favorite Elves, reminds gift shoppers that “A KACC membership makes a wonderful holiday gift that will be remembered with fondness throughout the coming year.”
Finally, for visitors who are searching for the perfect Texas landscape painting to give to a loved one or to treasure for their very own, the work of artist Patty Thomas, featured this month in the gem-like Cornels Gallery, is sure to find a special place in any Hill Country home.
The reception and open house for December’s shows will be from 2-4 pm on Saturday afternoon, December 10th, complete with KACC’s legendary food and wine tables and with many of the month’s featured artists in attendance. As always, the reception and the galleries are free and open to the public.
